Pomegranate (Punica granatum) is a round fruit belonging to the Lythraceae family and native to southern Asia. Pomegranate fruits grow on a small tree or shrub and have a thin outer rind with a protruding blossom. The fleshy inside has rows of edible seeds. We use pomegranate because the juice has a cleansing and brightening effect on the skin, as well as a fresh, citrusy fragrance. This gives our products a refreshing feel on the skin.
